1. Acceptance

By accessing or using StoreScanner (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

StoreScanner analyzes publicly available information about Shopify stores to estimate how discoverable and buyable they are to AI shopping agents, and suggests improvements. Scans run only against publicly accessible pages and public APIs.

3. Acceptable use

• Only scan stores you own or are authorized to analyze.
• Do not use the Service to overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any site.
• Do not resell, scrape, or bulk-export the Service’s output without written permission.
• We apply per-user and per-IP fair-use limits to keep the Service available to everyone.

4. Estimates & no guarantees

Scores, revenue-opportunity figures, and recommendations are estimates derived from category benchmarks and automated checks. They are provided “as is,” are not based on your actual sales data, and are not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, or revenue.

5. Done-for-you services

Any paid audit or implementation work is governed by a separate agreement. Code and fixes we provide are applied with your approval; you are responsible for maintaining backups of your store.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its reports, scoring methodology, and interface, is owned by StoreScanner. You retain ownership of your store and its content.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreScanner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
